About this mod Machine translation
Currently obsessed with the fire logo: Three Houses.
This mod replaces "tank.wav", which plays when the tank spawns in the finale, with "Chasing Dawn (Rain)" and "taank.wav", which is played when the tank spawns in the finale, with "Chasing Dawn (Thunder)". I edited these tracks to loop in case someone actually takes 2+ minutes to kill a tank. Enjoy!
Update: Found out the hard way that the audio lengths must match exactly to loop seamlessly, regardless of the prompt. Choose a quick fade to reduce abrupt loops.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
