About this mod Machine translation
An attempt to recreate the Beta Dark Carnival color grading.
While I can't say this is 100% authentic/faithful to the original, I think it does come close to the beta's color theme, giving the game more of a soft brown tone. Also, the hdr sky used in retail is different from the beta, so I didn't go out of my way to color match the sky.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
