About this mod Machine translation
This will replace the firing sound of the fixed 50 caliber machine gun with the sound of Black Mesa. Give them a real blast. The plugin menu will show conflicts (mainly with certain other sound modules), but these conflicts do nothing and there isn't really any way to get around them (at least to my humble modding knowledge). They cause no harm and everything works as expected.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
