About this mod Machine translation
This add-on restores unused(?) beta-infected music replacing the "Glimpse" music heard throughout the L4D2 campaign original files owned by Valve.
Install
Go to Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop, copy the file 1905255738.vpk and paste it into the main folder (where all DLC and left4dead2 folders are located).
Use GCFScape [nemesis.thewavelength.net] or Crowbar to extract the vpk to the Left 4 Dead 2 (not left4dead2) folder.
If you did everything correctly, you should have a new folder for infected music next to the dlc and left4dead2 folders.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
