Ever wonder why there are so many boxes for one item? Yes, me too. If you look closely, you'll notice that both the incendiary and explosive ammo upgrades deploy three (3) boxes instead of one, which barely matches the viewmodel and world model when you first pick them up.
The model is compatible with Rebuild and what not, except for Yognesia's ammo upgrade Reborn as it uses a modified model.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
