Hi everyone, this mod replaces the AK-47 with the Sarich/SMR rifle from Call of Duty: Black OS II, using an edited version of Rex, which is also a port of Robotnik. I don't know why I've been on such a huge bo2 winning streak, I guess it's because I've been fixing various meshes from the game and porting them to Gmod. Or because they're cool. Includes custom sounds.
Designed in 2009 by Vera Mukhna Institute graduate Andrei Ovsyannikov, the Sarich is Russia's prototype modular rifle. Obviously, no actual shooting prototype was produced, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it looks cool.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
