Yagami is the last installment of the 15 classic voice actor mod series. In fact, I wanted to stop it a few months ago. I don’t have much spare time anymore and the 15 game is almost over, so I actually have no enthusiasm anymore, but I still feel that I have to try my best to finish Yagami before it is over. I would like to say sorry here and thank you for your attention and support over the past two years. After that, I will maintain the mod with the 15 update and play it occasionally.
Needless to say, Kunihiko Yasui’s performance of Yagami is one of my favorite CVs. Therefore, Yagami’s solo song sung by Kunihiko Yasui was specially used as a small Easter egg in the video in the BGM of the first half. The victory lines at the end of the video are replaced with special lines after defeating Kyo. In the collection version mod, Yagami’s special lines to Kyo and Liana are replaced as small Easter eggs in the collection version mod. (In fact, replacing the victory lines was originally an update plan after the mod series was completed)
The mod mainly references the voices of King of Fighters 97-13, NBC, CVS2, SVC, and King of Fighters: Max Impact Rule A.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
