ULTIMATE AUTHORITY
🎯 Module function
Add more military activity to the game world! This mod adds elite soldiers as additional guards to roads, villages, hamlets, and mills in both regions.
⚔️ Soldier characteristics
These elite soldiers have **full Courage, Strength, Combat, and Defense attributes** (although they can still be defeated, the Courage value is high). They are equipped with high-grade universal and noble armor, and are specially equipped with... **Rifles**!
💡 **EXPERIMENTAL FEATURE**: The behavior of soldiers using rifles is still in testing, it may take them some time to decide whether to shoot you or fight you directly
📌 IMPORTANT NOTE
- This mod **adds more guards**, not replaces the original ones
- Compatible with **PTF mods** (as long as there are no other mods that modify extra guards)
- **Not Compatible** Another mod by the author "Faction Authority"
🛠️ Installation Guide
You can install it using Vortex, or install it manually:
- Place the mod file into your Mods folder
- Open the mod_order.txt file
- Add the module name to the list: red_star_authority
⚠️ Possible questions
- If you don't see extra guards in the village, this is normal - the generation is random or you need to wait a day
- It's also normal if some soldiers are completely naked or without armor (although I haven't encountered this) - wait a day or give the game some time
- The generator may be a bit unstable
- The ability for NPCs to use rifles is very experimental
🎨 Author’s words
I am a big fan of the historical background of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and I learned modding techniques through the KCD modding Discord server.
Thank you so much for using this mod, I hope you enjoy the additional gameplay content! Good luck! 🎮
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
