- **JoyToKey**: Map the handle keys to the keyboard keys configured in the INI file
- **Steam Input**: Map controller keys to keyboard keys via Steam's controller configuration
🔧 Optional features
**Coverage Detection**:
- Automatically switch to first-person perspective when opening menu/dialogue
- Restore previous view when closing menu
- Filter wheel input during overlay to prevent camera movement
**Customized field of view**:
Set `TpvFovDegrees` to any value between 0-180 to override the default third person view
⚠️ Known issues
**Camera and viewing angle limitations**:
- The camera may pass through objects in third-person perspective (no collision detection)
- Some game events or menus may display abnormally in the third-person perspective
- The camera may be slightly tilted when riding a horse
**Specific scenario issues**:
Switching perspectives during a scene where Hans is carrying Henry could cause unexpected camera and character model behavior
**Recommended solution**:
- Maintain first person perspective in this specific scene
- Avoid switching perspectives until the end of the scene
- Save may need to be reloaded if accidentally switched
🔍 Troubleshooting
When you encounter a problem:
- Set `LogLevel=DEBUG` in INI file
- Check the log file in the game directory (`KCD2_TPVToggle.log`)
- Verify controller mapping is correct

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
