Provision Purge
🎯 Module function
**Automatic cleaning of rotten supplies** - Automatically scan and remove all rotten food and herbs in your inventory every time you wake up from sleep!
🍎 Solve the core problem
**The toughest enemy in the game** - **Rotten Food** has been a target for many players! Accidentally eat spoiled food, only to find out there are no digestive potions available...game over!
This mod allows Henry to get rid of all the moldy stuff and keep his backpack tidy when packing after camping!
⚙️ How it works
Mod hooks into time lapse/sleep events that scan your inventory for rotten food and herbs and remove them. Currently only vanilla items are supported, but this can be easily expanded.
📁 Installation instructions
Manually copy to **mods** folder. Four versions are available:
- No message version (with/without sleep protection)
- Message version (with/without sleep protection)
The message version shows the actual text notification when cleaning.
🔧 Configuration options
Edit the **ProvisionPurgeConfig.lua** file to customize settings:
```lua
rottenThresholdHerb = 0.30, -- Delete herbs with freshness <= 30%
debugLogs = true, -- show detailed log output
enableSleepCleanup = true, -- Run cleanup after waking up
showMessages = false, -- show messages
requireSleep = true, -- requires actual sleep
minExhaustGain = 3 -- Minimum exhaustion gain
}
```
📜 Update log

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
