Toggle Hood up and Down
🎮 **A practical module that allows you to switch hood status freely! **
✨ Core Functions
- Use the **"U"** key on the keyboard to quickly switch hood status
- Controller users can use the **Left trigger + Cross(PS)/A(XBox)** key combination
- Switch between "up" and "down" wearing states in real time
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
- **"-devmode" mode must be enabled** for normal use
- This is a test version, please make a backup before use
- Do not use with mods that add a permanent upward hood or replace the original hood
🎭Supported hood types
- Beggar's Hood
- Brocade hood
- Courtier's Hood
- Trimmed hood
- Miner's hood
- Pickpocket hood
- Simple hood
- Wanderer Hood
- Bag-cutting hood (default is changed to downward state, can be restored to upward state by switching)
🔧 How it works
Create a new item version through LUA script, replace the currently equipped hood item when switching, and utilize the existing hood status settings in the game to achieve seamless switching.
📋 Known limitations
- When there are more than 10 hoods in the backpack, the switching response will become slower.
- Automatically clean, repair and upgrade the hood level when switching
- Some module hoods cannot be supported due to lack of upward models.
💡 **Tip**: It is recommended to keep only a few commonly used hoods in your backpack for the best experience!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
