Explorer Overhaul - Discover POIs Naturally

🌟Mod Overview

**Explorer Overhaul: Naturally Discovering Points of Interest** The Explorer skill from the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been completely reworked to provide more reasonable rewards for players who interact with the world through true exploration.

---

🎯 Core Functions

In the original game, activating this skill automatically revealed all undiscovered points of interest on the map - taking away the joy of discovery from the player. This mod disables this feature and replaces it with a new effect that matches the game's settings:

Your journey sharpens your senses and broadens your mind. You now gain 10% more experience from all sources, reflecting knowledge gained through wandering and observing life.

This version is designed for players who want a more immersive experience - finding something in the middle of nowhere is a truly worthwhile achievement.

---

📁 Optional files

In the "Options File" you can find additional XP gain options to replace the default 10%.

Unzip "Explorer Overhaul - Alternative XP Buffs.zip" and follow the instructions in **Readme.txt** to enjoy one of the following possible XP buffs:

  • 0%
  • 25%
  • 50%
  • 75%
  • 100%
  • 150%
  • 200%

---

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

  • This mod only changes the functionality of *Explorer* skills
  • If you have activated the vanilla skill and shown all points of interest on the map, this mod **does not restore** that effect

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
