MissingHistory v1.9.3
The expansion pack of makinghistory, the gospel of stockalike parties.
About this mod Machine translation
The expansion pack of makinghistory, the gospel of stockalike parties.
The original introduction is translated as follows
What it does
Add (or update) various parts that the original author wanted MakingHistory to include but didn't. See the gallery below for a complete list of parts available for this mod.
Why would anyone want this?
I love all the new parts in MakingHistory and all the new design options they provide when I build my spacecraft.
However it just feels like there are a few "holes" *(note: sic)*, I wish they would add a few more. The 1.875 meter fuel tanks have a new look and the 2.5 meter tanks have been redesigned to match. . . But the 1.25-meter fuel tank still has the old texture and looks a bit dim in comparison. Again, the new engines are cool, but they have a very different style to the old stock ones, and the contrast might be a bit harsh - I'd love to have some new design choices in the 1.25m size. 1.875 meters is awesome as a new component size. . . Apart from the engine and fuel tank, it has almost no other components, making it a bit awkward to use as anything other than a radial booster. From 2.5m to 3.75m, the lack of a fueled nosecone annoyed me.
Anyway, this little mod is my attempt to fill in some of those gaps. I hope this becomes obsolete if they release some "real" parts to meet these needs, but until then, I'll make do with it.
How to install
Extract the contents of "GameData" into your GameData folder, the same as with most mods. *(Note, includes ModuleManager.)*
If desired, additional optional configurations can be installed, located in a separate "optional" folder within the zip file. See below for details.

Mk2-B "Palici" command pod
Please provide steedcrugeon! A 1.875 meter command module with similar statistics to MissingHistory's Mk2 command module. . . But its top diameter is 1.25 meters, not 0.625 meters. Designed for use in flight operations or lander.
*Note: The original image is lost! *
*Original note: The pod is fully playable, but does not yet have its own custom IVA. As a stopgap it reused the IVA from the Mk2 pod, which was playable. (If you don't have "MissingHistory" installed, this pod will still be playable, but there will be no IVA.)*
PPD-7 "Stowaway" Crew Compartment
Please provide JadeOfMaar! A 1.875-meter cabin can accommodate three people.
NOTE: The cabin is fully playable, but does not yet have its own custom IVA. As a stopgap measure, it reused Hitchhiker's IVA. (So don't be surprised when you see an extra empty seat there.)

1.875m Parts
- Detector core
- Battery
- Momentum wheel
- Service warehouse
- Cargo storage containers
- Xenon tank
- Mineral tank
- SRB
Not a new model; these are just standard 1.25m parts that I adjusted via the ModuleManager configuration.
Please note that both the battery and the momentum wheel are configured to support IndicatorLights, if you happen to have them installed.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
