About this mod Machine translation

KeyBindingExtensions (key binding extensions)

Extends In Falsus' six-track key bindings to support mouse buttons, as well as binding multiple tracks to the same keyboard key or mouse button. Set configurations through in-game operations to retain original applications, save and restore default functions.

use

  • Open the operation settings page in "Settings".
  • Click on any track key slot.
  • Press the keyboard key or mouse button you want to bind; the mouse buttons appear as Mouse0, Mouse1, and so on.
  • Click the original "Apply" button to save.

Mouse0, Mouse1, and Mouse2 are the left, right, and middle buttons respectively, and Mouse3 and Mouse4 are the forward and back keys of the Input System. The mod prioritizes reading each raw event through these standard ButtonControls while retaining the full 16-bit state read of MouseState.buttons, so the same path can handle Mouse0 to Mouse15; if the custom mouse layout also exposes other ButtonControls in allControls, those controls will also get stable MouseNs and can be bound. The actual buttons available depend on the mouse, driver, and controls exposed by Unity.

The first click used to select a slot does not immediately become a binding. Click the same slot again to bind Mouse0; you can also press the side button after selecting the slot. Apply buttons, restore defaults, and keyboard rebinding continue to work.

The same keyboard key or mouse button can be bound to any number of tracks. Select the slots you want to share keys in turn, bind the same key one by one, and then click "Apply"; setting other slots will not replace the existing bindings. Pressing, holding and releasing during play will affect all corresponding tracks at the same time.

Bind and write the game's original keybind_BottomLane0 to keybind_BottomLane5 preferences without creating a second configuration. After reopening Settings, entering a song, or restarting the game, both the Settings slot and track keytip will display and use the saved MouseN. These reserved values require this module to be displayed and triggered; you can restore the defaults in the operation settings before disabling the module.

Install

It is recommended to install via r2modman from In Falsus. BepInExPack_IL2CPP in dependencies will be processed by the module manager. This package does not carry BepInEx, Doorstop or .NET runtime. The package ID is MengLei-KeyBindingExtensions and the plug-in DLL is named KeyBindingExtensions.dll, which can be enabled or disabled with ParticleFusion and SkillSelection respectively.

If the old package MengLei-MouseKeyBindings has been installed, uninstall the old package in the module manager first, and then install MengLei-KeyBindingExtensions. When installing manually, first remove the old MouseKeyBindings.dll and then put in KeyBindingExtensions.dll. Keybindings are still saved in the game's original preferences.

input behavior

Mouse press and release use the Input System raw event times. Events will only enter the existing six-track processing path if the MouseN is currently actually bound to one of the six-tracks, the GameScene is registered in the vanilla always-receiving input stack, and the pause layer is not shown; character selection, settings, and other menus do not receive MouseN composition keys. The release event will also be corrected with the current physical state of the corresponding ButtonControl at the end of the frame to avoid missing events in the event layout and keep the track lit after release. When the pause popup appears, tracks that have accepted a press will immediately receive a paired release and remain invalid until the pause layer is fully closed.

Mouse bindings do not include Ctrl, Alt, or Shift combinations. The original keyboard bindings and their modifier key matches are not modified.

Compatibility range

Currently compatible with Steam App ID 3971950, Unity 6000.3.9f1 and IL2CPP metadata version 39. The implementation depends on the game's current InputMana …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
