The Mandalorian Skin – Play as the Mandalorian
曼达洛人皮肤——扮演曼达洛人
About this mod Machine translation
The Mandalorian Skin – Play as the Mandalorian
Replaces the player character with a fully equipped Mandalorian—beskar armor, helmet, and cape—preserving original animations for the three survivors. No keys, no panels - just install it, load any save, and you can put on the armor.
Real skin change, not costume props
The model is re-overlaid onto the game's skeleton at runtime. This means nothing is faked or recreated: walking, sprinting, crouching, aiming, reloading, riding a bike, being grabbed, ragdolling when you die - every original animation and IK behavior directly drives The Mandalorian. The new armor also has a rain-soaked skin effect.
✨ What it does
Three survivors - the Hunter, the Mechanic, and the Scavenger - all become Mandalorians; each can be switched individually in the configuration
Complete armor - helmet, breastplate, pauldrons, gauntlets, thigh plates and cloak, all uniformly weathered
The first-person perspective is kept clean - the helmet is connected to the game's own head-hiding mechanism and never emerges from the barrel when aiming
Worn gear hidden, attributes maintained - Equipped vanilla armor and helmets are visually hidden by default to avoid penetrating Beskar armor; all defensive attributes, durability, scales and repairs apply as before. If you want to see the equipment, you can switch to real-time switching in the configuration
Weather Awareness - Rain will wet armor using the game's own wet surface system
Lighter than original - 40% fewer vertices and 2K textures vs. 8K; older GPUs will actually have a little more headroom
The fine print, honestly
Known Cosmetic Issues: The arms are slightly pinched against the body in certain poses. This is most noticeable on Hunter (the female survivor) - her skeleton differs the most from the model's original rigging. Pure visual effects, does not affect the game experience
The cape is weighted (rigid) rather than cloth simulated - this is intentional after extensive testing: stable and unbuttoned flapping with the occasional slight flutter
The switch happens when the world loads
Purely visual: Zombies, detection, stealth and gameplay are completely unchanged
Wearing night vision goggles (from my Night Vision Accessory Mod)? Its model is hidden along with the helmet, but the night vision function still works
The original character's hair and head are hidden when the mod is active - this is exactly the point, but worth mentioning
⚙️ Configuration
Everything is live in BepInEx\config\humanhost.mandoskin.cfg
(Created on first launch). Configuration changes will take effect the next time the game is started, unless otherwise noted:
Replace hunter
/ ReplaceMechanic
/replace scavenger
——Choose which survivors receive armor (default is all on)
ShowCape
——Cloakless equipment, if you will.
Hide device visual effects
——Hide the worn original equipment model (effective immediately, the attributes remain unchanged)
enable
——Main switch
Zero immunity impact
This mod does not write to saves - the in-memory meshes and textures are swapped from scratch each time it is launched. Disable or uninstall it at any time and your saves will look like the original.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
