📦 Stack customizer

A clean quality of life mod designed for Human Host. Customize the maximum stack size of each stackable item in the game - default is 9999, or customize the value through simple configuration.

✨ Features

By default, each stackable item can be stacked up to 9999 levels - install it and forget about it

Two modes: unified (all items have the same value) or multiplicative (original stack of each item × N)

Override by Item – Set any item to your own value

Never touch non-stackable items - weapons, armor, and tools remain original

Real-time configuration reload - edit CFG while the game is running, effective immediately

14 language reference CSV for non-English speaking players

Stack code display correction - 4-digit value (9999) is no longer truncated to "999"

Zero runtime overhead during normal gameplay

⚙️ Configuration

File: BepInEx\config\humanhost.stack.customizer.cfg

Just want everything to stack 9999? Don't do anything.

Default mode = unified, default value = 9999. No setup is required.

Want different uniform values?

[General situation]

mode = unified mode

UnifiedMaxStack = 99999

Want to multiply each item by N (keep the original balanced)?

[General situation]

mode = multiplication

Multiplier = 10

Maximum multiple = 9999

The maximum number of vanilla stacks per item is multiplied by 10. Antibiotics (vanilla 20) will become 200. Stone (original 200) becomes 2000. Nails (original 300) will become 3000. Any results above the multiplier cap are limited to that value (so there aren't any unusually high numbers above 9999).

Want to fine-tune a specific item?

The [item coverage]

This section in CFG lists all stackable items in the game in alphabetical order by English name. = 0

It means "use active mode". Set any positive number to override:

[item coverage]

Antibiotics = 50

Nails = 500

7.62x39mm bullet = 200

Damaged planks = 999

Per-item override completely ignores mode/unified max stack/multiplier cap. This is exactly what most players need.

🌐 Find item name (non-English speaking players)

The [item coverage]

Some use English names. If you don’t know the English name of the item, please use the included StackCustomizer_items.csv: Open the CSV in Excel (or LibreOffice/Google Sheets).

Search the product name in your language column (Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / Russian / Japanese / Korean / French / German / Polish / Spanish / Italian / Portuguese / Turkish / Thai)

Read the English column on the same line - that's the cfg key you need to find and edit

🔬 Advanced: Per-variant control (use only if you really need it)

If you are satisfied with [ItemOverrides] above, you can skip this part. Most players simply don't need this. Some items have multiple shape variations but share a common English name. For example: "Damaged planks" are actually 18 different prefabs (1x1 blocks, cuboids, triangles, semi-cylinders L/M/S, pyramids, stairs, etc.) - they have the same name, but unique icons, and are stored as separate items in your inventory. Edit English Name [Item Override]

Change all 18 variations simultaneously. If you want a shape to behave differently than other shapes, you can manually add a line with the prefab name (from the PrefabName column in the CSV). You can add this line anywhere inside [item override]

  • Your value will not be lost - but it is recommended to add it at the very bottom to facilitate subsequent lookups (BepInEx may reorder the columns when saving). Three example scenarios: Scenario A - only one variant is covered, other versions follow the pattern (default 9999):

[item coverage]

Damaged planks = 0 # (all 18 pieces follow pattern = 9999)

1_1_Block_Damaged_Planks_Icon = 500 # (this shape becomes 500)

Scenario B - English name as group alternative, a variant special case:

[item coverage]

Damaged planks = 999 # (17 variations = 999)

1_1_Block_Damaged_Planks_Icon = 500 # (this shape = 500, beats the whole group)

Scenario C – affects all variants simultaneously (most comm …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
