Quick loot
快速战利品
About this mod Machine translation
🎒 Quick loot
A clean quality of life mod designed for Human Host. Press a key next to a stack of containers and you'll get everything within range - no need to F-interact with each box or wait for a loot bar. It works exactly like the vanilla loot flow; just skipping the manual labor.
✨ What it does
Pressing a shortcut key (the X key by default) displays everything within a configurable range around you:
Items that fall on the ground - things you throw, wood from cutting, anything you would normally step on and grab with F
Aimable ground loot – small interactive props with white highlighted outlines (usually the ones you have to look at directly)
World Containers - Chests, lockers, and every searchable container generated by the game. Storage placed by the player is never used.
Killed Zombie Corpses - Corpse loot, including ragdolls and distant GPUI corpses
Each source can be switched independently in the configuration.
🔧 Vanilla Loyalty
Same loot table, same chance, same refresh time, same save state. This mod simply invokes the pickup functionality of the game itself - no customization, no bloat, and no bypassing. You can freely mix vanilla F-search and shortcut keys on the same container.
⚙️ Configurable
Edit BepInEx\config\humanhost.quickloot.cfg: Shortcut keys (default X key) - supports modifier keys, for example: Left Control + X
Radius (default 12 meters, range 2–40) - distance around the player
Ground items (enabled by default) - dropped items
Ground resources (enabled by default) - can target ground props
WorldContainers (enabled by default) – world chests/lockers
Zombie Corpse (enabled by default) - Zombie Corpse
🔔 Notification feedback
Every time a news release is released, a summary notification appears in the lower left corner:
Green, when you grab something - for example, quick loot: 3 ground / 5 resources / 12 containers
Yellow when nothing is in range - Quick Loot: There is nothing nearby.
The numbers count how many stacks were moved, not unique item types, nor total units. A pile of logs (a pile of 50 blocks) = 1 block of ground, not 50 blocks.
📦 Installation
Requires BepInEx 5 (mono x64). The workshop only ships QuickLoot.dll.
Step 1 — Install BepInEx 5
Download BepInEx_win_x64_5.4.23.2.zip from
Unzip Human Host.exe into your Human Host installation folder (next to)
).You should look at winhttp.dll, doorstop_config.ini, and a BepInEx
folder
Start the game once and then exit - this will generate BepInEx\plugins\,BepInEx\config\,BepInEx LogOutput.log
Step 2 — Enable HideManagerGameObject (required)
⚠️ Without this step, the mod loads but does nothing.
Open the door BepInEx\config\BepInEx.cfg
Change HideManagerGameObject = false
to HideManagerGameObject = true

💡 Tips
Wait for the green notification before pressing. Container looting runs on a short coroutine (≈0.1–1 second per container, item icon loads); during this time, the media is ignored.
Is your backpack full? Shortcut keys will still recognize the appropriate location. The remaining items will remain in the existing data of the container - press the X key after clearing the inventory, or manually F-container to get the remaining items.
In a building with many containers, a large radius of 30m+ may take 1 to 2 seconds in total. During the burst, the window is hidden from the screen; you cannot see the flicker.
There is no "unboxing" sound when using hotkeys - that sound belongs to the vanilla loot bar coroutine, which we skipped. Just in appearance.
🔧 Troubleshooting

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
