About this mod Machine translation

♻️ Quick disassembly

This is a quality of life mod designed for human hosts. Have a backpack filled with spare weapons, armor, and tools, ready to be dismantled? Instead of right-clicking and "Dismantling → Dismantling" for each piece of gear, convert the entire pile into materials with one click - and set up simple filters to avoid dismantling the gear you want to keep.

✨ What it does

Dismantle a whole bunch of weapons/armor/tools of different qualities at once

There are three triggering methods - choose the method that suits you

Four security checks to ensure you don’t lose the gear you’re wearing or want to keep

Hover your mouse over any dismantling button to see exactly what materials you can get and how much, and then decide

Batch disassembly will emit a single sound instead of a burst

Materials, quality and quantity are exactly the same as when disassembled by hand - no changes or swelling whatsoever

14 languages, automatically follows your game language

️Three ways to use

On-Screen Buttons – There is a new “Disassemble All” button at the bottom of your backpack and at the bottom of any open storage bins. The backpack button is used to disassemble backpack items; the storage button disassembles that box. Materials always go into your backpack. Right-click menu - right-click on the item → Disassemble → OK. This will disassemble similar items in the container. Shortcut key - Ctrl + Delete (you can change it) to dismantle all eligible items in the backpack and storage at once. By default you press twice: the first time to show how many there will be, and the second time to confirm. Disassembly cannot be undone, so the double press is by design.

⚙️ Background setting - worth reading

This mod is all about control. Three settings determine which ones will be demolished. File: BepInEx\config\humanhost.quickdismantle.cfg

Default settings - use directly after installation

Right out of the box, Quick Disassembly will remove all of your scattered gear (weapons, armor, tools), leaving stacks of materials intact and asking you to confirm first. No matter how you set it up, there are two things that are protected: the gear you are currently wearing and anything in your gear slot. These were never dismantled.

MaxQualityToDismantle (1–6, default 6)

Only items of this quality level are dismantled.

6 = No limits, dismantle everything

3 = Only dismantle levels 1–3 and protect level 4–6 equipment.

1 = lowest level of garbage only

Maintain highest quality (off by default)

Turn this feature on to keep the best parts of each item and disassemble the rest. Perfect for "I have five of the same knives - keep the best, melt the others".

Unpack stacks (off by default)

Off = Only loose equipment is dismantled; your stackable materials and resources remain intact

In = Stackable and detachable items will also be deconstructed

⚠️ Something you need to know

If you turn on both MaxQuality and KeepHighest, KeepMost will keep the best content remaining after the quality limit - not your overall best. For example: you have a knife with qualities 2, 4, and 6, and MaxQuality is set to 3. 4 and 6 are disabled, so the only thing that's in range is quality-2 - and KeepHighest saves that one at the end, without tearing anything apart. So choose only one; don't use both.

quick recipes

Clean all equipment, keep materials → keep default state

Only dismantle low-level equipment → set MaxQuality to 3

Keep every essence, melt and repeat → turn on the maintain maximum function

Dismantle materials → turn on the dismantling and stacking function

Stay true to the game

Quick disassembly uses the disassembly function of the game itself - the same materials, the same random quantity, the same durability output. There are no balance changes at all; it just takes away the hassle of clicking. Can be freely mixed and used with ordinary manual disassembly.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
