Fix adjustments
A fully configurable overhaul of the two repair systems in Human Host - structural repair (attacking buildings with repair tools) and item durability repair (backpack repair button). Each feature is like a configuration switch: use what you want and keep the rest as vanilla. Out of the box, only one thing has changed: the quality of the repair tools finally matters. In vanilla, a quality 6 stone ax repairs structures at the same rate as a quality 1 stone ax (~5% per slash, ~20 swings per wall). With this mod, each quality level increases +2% per swing: Quality-1 = 5%, Quality-6 = 15% - three times faster. Everything else remains vanilla until you enable it.
✨ Features
structural repair
Quality Scaling - Higher quality repair tools repair faster (+2%/tier, configurable, on by default)
Fixed speed multiplier - bonus for each swing (0.1x ~ 50x)
Any melee tool can be repaired - not just stone axes (except firearms)
No tool wear when repairing structures
Silent Repair – No noise, no zombie visits
F2 — Instant repair: Hold the repair tool to observe the damaged building → the health value is instantly full
F4 — Nearby Repair: A key skill that repairs all damaged player-built structures (walls, workbenches, storage boxes, etc.) around you within a configurable radius (default 20 meters). Only the items you built are touched - world building is never affected
⭐ Skills
Repairman Skill Amplifier - Doubles the repairman skill bonus to structural repairs
Item repair
Free repairs - Backpack repair button requires no materials
Material efficiency - 1 material restores N durability, not 1 (e.g. x5 = one-fifth of the material)
F3 — Repair All: One key to repair all broken items in your backpack/belt (respects both options above; items missing materials will be skipped and reported)
⏳Durability
Durability Loss Multiplier - Slows (or stops: 0 = no wear) the rate at which weapons, tools, firearms and armor wear down
Maximum durability multiplier - items remain more durable between repairs
Never collapse - the durability will stop at 1 instead of breaking when it reaches 0

Comment
F2/F4 requires a repair tool in hand (default is stone ax; any melee weapon is required as long as AllowAllToolsRepair is turned on). Instant/Close Repair never consumes tool durability and makes no sound
F4 only fixes player-built buildings - the mod checks the game's own building classification, so world houses, trees and l …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
