Most player-targeting commands accept a Steam ID or a (partial) player name as the target. Omit the target to affect your local player.
⚠️ Notes
- Commands marked host only require you to be the server/host to take effect.
- fly, noclip, walkspeed, jumppower, infjump, and thirdperson are client-authoritative — they only visibly affect the local client they're run on.
- size is applied locally and may not sync to other clients unless the game itself networks transform scale.
- dmg changes the damage multiplier applied to player health, not damage dealt to fish or catch mechanics — think of it as a manual difficulty dial. Running game_difficulty afterward will reset it back to the difficulty preset's value.
- thirdperson repositions the camera only — aiming and item-interaction rays may still originate from the camera's position, so expect ADS/interaction quirks while it's active.
- ban only stores the tar
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
