About this mod Author’s original text

Fish HP

Shows the health of living non-boss creatures damaged by the local player in a native-style stacked HUD on the

left side of the screen.

Features

  • Displays each target name, right-aligned synchronized current / maximum HP, and a native health bar.
  • Keeps multiple living targets in separate non-overlapping rows; the most recently damaged target moves to the top.
  • Supports a configurable bar color using Default, #RRGGBB, or #RRGGBBAA.
  • Keeps living fish visible when a boss takes damage.
  • Uses the game's native bar sprites, font, delayed white damage trail, movement spring, and rotation spring.
  • Automatically disappears when the target dies, despawns, or the normal gameplay HUD is hidden.
  • Hides while paused or while a game menu is open.
  • Read-only: it does not change health, damage, combat, or network state.

Compatibility

  • How to Fish 1.0.5
  • BepInEx 5.4.23.5

compiled against the game before release.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
