IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you just want face paint and focus colors, you can access them in-game by placing the files in your saved game directory. So you have 3 options:
1º Start a new game.
2º Start a new game with all items/gear in the game. (Not from Frozen Wilds)
3º Start a new game plus and drop all weapons/outfits/resources and use the cheat engine to get the shards to 0.
4º Continue your own game with this feature unlocked.
Extract the file and paste it into your game save location (remember to back up your save in advance)
Usual location...>Documents>Horizon Zero Dawn>Saved Game
If you don't have a "Saved Games" folder just create one and unzip it there
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
