-What's this? This mod is based on the original Cyber FSR for Cyberpunk 2077 by PotatoOfDoom1337, and the original source code for the mod is available on GitHub. This mod attempts to replace DLSS with FidelityFx Super Resolution 2.1. The mod is still in development, but the early results are already pretty impressive. CyberFSR was originally made for Cyberpunk 2077, but apparently it can be used in any game that supports DLSS. Therefore, I forked the project and also included an injector to disable Nvidia RTX GPU checks, making the DLSS option available to any GPU, including Intel onboard GPU LMAO. This mod is compatible with any AMD, Intel and Nvidia GPU that can handle Horizon Zero Dawn -
-How does this work? FSR 2.1 and Nvidia DLSS are both temporal upscalers and work (aside from some minor differences) very similarly. This means that both systems require similar data to work. Fortunately, NVIDIA releases its DLSS implementation as a dynamic library (dll file). This allowed us to simply replace the problematic DLL with our own version capable of converting NVIDIA DLSS to FSR 2.1 commands. API reimplementations like Wine or DXVK work in a similar way.
Install:
1Extract the files into the Horizon Zero Dawn folder so that nvngx.dll, nvngx.ini and winmm.dll are in the same folder as the main EXE file
2 Very Important: Run the included "EnableSignatureOverride.reg" file to force DLSS to run. (Accept the pop-up administrator prompt)
3Launch the game, go to the graphics options and select the “DLSS” setting
4Play games with FSR 2.
uninstall:
1 Run the included "DisableSignatureOverride.reg"
2Delete nvngx.dll, nvngx.ini and winmm.dll

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
