Should reduce the damage of most enemies and Bosses. Some that trigger twice still deal double damage.

⚔️ Damage Reduction
*This mod should fix the Problem of almost everything dealing double damage. The Damage should now be set to 1 for most Enemies and Bosses.
*HOWEVER, you can still INCREASE the damage or set it to 0 by going into the BepInEx config folder and change the cfg of com.sky.silksong.damageoverride DamageValue = 1 to any number you like i guess.
🔧 Install
- Download BepInEx
- Drop the Files inside BepInExPack inside your exe, should be at steamapp/common/hollow knight silksong/
- DOwnload this mod
- Drop the mod inside the plugins folder inside the BepInEx Folder inside your exe folder. So inside steamapps\common\Hollow Knight Silksong\BepInEx\plugins
- Done
📒 Note
- I only tested this mod on an environment that usually deals double damage, i guess they simply deal 1, but trigger twice, so i can't rly tell which objects still deal 2.
- Most Bosses should now deal 1 Damage instead of 2. I tried it with the Boss nearby the citadel and it worked.
- I will make a playthrough with this mod active, there shouldn't be rly any bugs or problems. Download it, try it out and see if it works or not.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
