Clown Hornet Skin

v1.0.1·Updated 2026-10-03

Clown Hornet!? Just like the memes! Garbage quality. Peak shitpost

About this mod Author’s original text

This is my(Youexe666) Clown Hornet skin.

Other than visual difference it shouldn't change the gameplay in any way... so the worst that can happen is ruin your mental hitbox of Hornet or block something you should see. The afro flips sides because it is magic. No other reason. NO reason like maybe the sprites all face the same direction in the photo editor but some are made to be flipped so the afro is flipped in-game and I'm too lazy(and its too funny) to un-flip the afro in those sprites. That's a DUMB reason. Totally unbelievable. The afro is just truly magic. Yep. Silk magic even. mmm-hmm. No other reason.... It's also why the afro is so wiggly. It is so magical. Like it got a mind of it's own.....uhh...that is silk magic. It just does that. Barely contained in between the horns of hornet.

Anyway...make sure this folder "clown\_hornet\_skin" is in the BepInEx's plugins folder with the Stitchworks mod folder also in the plugins folder. You can find the plugins folder Mod Manager by

1st: click settings Mod Manager.

2nd: In the setting menu there are sections. Pick Directories.

3rd: In the Directories section there should be a section that shows you the file path of where the profile folder is stored on your computer. Click browse. NOT change.

4th: After clicking browse, should open a folder that has a bunch of stuff in it but all you need to care about is the BepInEx folder. Open that folder.

5th: After opening the BepInEx folder you should see the plugins folder. That is where my clown\_hornet\_skin mod folder and the stitchworks mod folder is supposed to be in.

6th: Find where you manually downloaded clown\_hornet\_skin folder and Stitchworks folder(the default is the downloads folder but it can be different). If it is a.zip extract it first. Then move the ENTIRE EXTRACTED folders into the BepInEx's plugins folder.

7th: Now open the game modded by going back mod manager and press the modded button at the top. Wait for the game to load.

8th: If everything is done correctly you should see a little square at the bottom left of the game screen that says a number of packs, sprites and clips. That means you have stitchworks and its working fine. Press 1.

9th: Pressing 1 will open the stitchworks packs menu. There you should see my skin listed(and any other stitchworks dependent mod). It is called "Clown Hornet(low quality)". Next to the scan button there is a switch button. Press it to make it green and then press apply at the bottom.

10th: FINALLY! The skin is applied and you look like a clown. Beautiful. Congrats.

I've been experiencing the Mod Manager struggling to add this skin and other Stitchworks skins to the plugins folder by itself so you may have to add it yourself. Manually. If that is still a problem I hope the above step by step process helped alot. Also I'm sorry to inform you but there are sprites of hornet I can't edit. Mainly enemy grab animations. I'm sorry. I tried and failed. I may successfully change those sprites later.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
