About this mod Machine translation
Replaces all default spell casting voices in the game with their whispered versions.
*Some fun tidbits about unused or possible future content at the end of the post*
This mod is for those who prefer a subtler, quieter, more elegant way of casting spells, or, like me, just want your evil character to sound more menacing.
Whispering Spells
✨ **Elegant casting, silently** ✨
This mod replaces **99%** of the default spell casting voices in the game with their whispered versions (these voices originally play when you are invisible). Non-combat spells such as **Revelio** have also been modified.
---
🤔 Why 99%?
Because I left a small portion of the voices untouched because they sounded really cool and intimidating and not too loud.
For example: the voice of a female character casting **Crucio**. There are 4 voices by default. I replaced 3 of them with whisper versions and kept 1 unchanged. For details, you can see the demonstration video at the end of the post.

🔍 Fun facts about game files
While messing around with the game files, I found some interesting audio files that were either unused content or possible future content.
*Hopefully this section isn't out of date as I can't personally confirm if any of this stuff is actually not being used in the game, but I'm pretty sure it is. * If there is any misleading information in this part, please let me know!
**Evanesco (Vanishing Spell)**
Haven't had a chance to test Evanesco in my playthrough, but **from what I've seen on YouTube**, your character won't say anything when casting Evanesco, even though the game files include voice lines for each cast of Evanesco. I tried looking for existing but unused spell voices in other games, but Evanesco was the only one I found.
**Expulso**
It looks like Expulso was originally supposed to be one of the spells players could cast. The game has audio files for each time the player casts Expulso, and these files are named and stored exactly like every other spell available in the game.
**Reducto (Crushing Curse)**
Same situation as Expulso.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
