Hello!

After a great fight against a red level boss where I almost took it out in one hit with the Ancient Magic finishing move (which made the fight too easy), I decided Ancient Magic needed some damage nerfs.

✨ Module function

• **Damage weakened**: Reduces the damage of ancient magical finishing moves by 40%.
• **Customizable**: You can easily adjust the damage value by editing the script file to find the balance point that suits you best.

**2023-02-18 Update Notes**: After further testing, reducing the damage value to 100 (i.e. 60% damage reduction) seems more appropriate, because when I used the -40% version, I almost didn’t feel any increase in challenge. This is just a simple suggestion for your reference!

🛠️ How to install

• **Download UE4SS**: First, you need to download and install the UE4SS tool.
• **Unzip UE4SS**: Unzip the contents of the downloaded compressed package to the directory where the game executable file is located (next to `~\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\HogwartsLegacy.exe`).

**PLEASE NOTE**: This is not the root directory of the game! The decompressed file structure should look like the picture. (Editor's note: The automatically generated `imgui.ini` and `ue4ss.logs` files in the picture can be ignored, and you do not need to keep all the original files in the UE4SS compressed package. You can remove the default module.)

• **Install this module**: Finally, unzip the contents of this module compressed package to the root directory of the game `~\Hogwarts Legacy`.

📝 Customized damage value

If you want to adjust the damage reduction percentage, just open the script file, find and modify the following line of code:

BipedPlayer.FinisherDamage = 150.000000 -- Original value is 250

```

Just change `150.000000` to the value you want. The original damage value is 250, and the mod sets it to 150 by default (i.e. a 40% reduction).
