📥 Installation and use
Please strictly follow the steps below:
- **Clean the module folder**:
- Move **all contents** out of the `Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\` folder.
- Temporarily put them in another folder (such as a folder on your desktop), **but not** inside `Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\` or any of its subfolders.
- If the `~mods` folder does not exist, create it.
- **Install this module**:
- Manually download this module and extract the **PAK file** from the ZIP file.
- Move the PAK file to: `Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`
- **Verification and use**:
- Launch the Hogwarts Legacy game and load your most recent save.
- Open your equipment interface and check your health. **If the health value ends with the number "8", the module has been successfully loaded**. If it is another number, the loading was not successful, please return to check steps 1-3.
- Once the mod is properly installed, **immediately head to the hillside behind Hogsmeade to meet Rodoc**. **Don't do anything else before this! **(Using fast travel is OK.)
- **Feedback**:
- **If it works** 🎉: Please click the **"ENDORSE (Support)"** button on this module page, and welcome to leave a message in the post area.
- **If it doesn’t work** 😔: Please submit a BUG report and I will try to find a solution.

🏁 After completion
Once you follow Rodok to the tomb entrance and complete the conversation with him, you no longer need this mod (unless you decide to go back to an earlier progression in the game for some reason).
So, just delete the mod's PAK file from the `Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\` folder and put all your original mod files back.

⚠️ Clash and Game Version
- **How it works**: This module modifies and replaces the game's `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` SQL database file.
- **Potential Conflict**: If you have any other SQL mods installed, they may prevent this mod from working properly. That's why when running this mod, the safest way is to temporarily remove all your other mods.
- **Advanced Options**:
- If you are **sure** that you don't have any SQL modules installed, you can keep the existing ones and just try to see if this works. (As long as the health value on the equipment interface in the game ends with "8", it means there is no problem.)
- If you **do** have SQL mods, you can try to load **after** those mods by renaming this mod file to `zzzzzHelmofUrtkotLodgokBugFix_P.pak`. (Again, a hit point ending in "8" indicates success.)
- **Game Version**: This mod assumes you are running a fully updated game (up to and including the May 4, 2023 patch). If not, give it a try, it will probably still work. But be sure to delete it when you're done.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
