Time Dilator
⏰ ** Take control of your magic time! **
✨ Module introduction
In Hogwarts Legacy, by default, a "game day" is equivalent to 48 real-world minutes. Sometimes it feels too fast, sometimes it feels too slow. This mod gives you the freedom to adjust the speed of time to suit your gameplay rhythm!
🎩 **Special Thanks**: This module is based on Rysel / S1yRuleZ’s original LUA/UE4SS module Tempus Imperium.

⚙️ Configuration variables (v2.2 and above)
You can adjust the module behavior by modifying the configuration file:
- **`TimeDilationScaleFactor`**: Adjust the magnification of time lapse each time. The default value is **2** (i.e. doubled/halved).
- **`TimeDilationDefaultMinutes`**: By default, the number of real-life minutes corresponding to 1 game day. The default value is **48**.
**How to modify? **
Open your `Engine.ini` configuration file (usually located in `C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\`) and add the following (you can modify the numbers):
```ini
[/Game/CustomContent/TimeDilatorConfig.TimeDilatorConfig_C]
TimeDilationScaleFactor=1.5
TimeDilationDefaultMinutes=60
```
For example, the above setting means:
- Each time the acceleration/deceleration key is pressed, the time passage speed will be multiplied or divided by **1.5**.
- After reset, 1 game day will equal **60** real-life minutes.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
