An open source Blueprint mod that toggle slow motion with the press of a button. Very useful in tricky combat situations.

🎮 **Control time with one click, and the battle will be easier now! **

Have you ever been in the middle of an intense battle and got stuck because you couldn't find the right button in time? 😫 I used to have this happen too, having to look down at the keyboard instead of focusing on the battle in front of me. It was unreal and cost me a lot of winnable battles.

This mod was created to solve this problem! It allows you to turn slow motion on or off at any time. For example, you can turn on slow motion at the beginning of combat and turn it off at the end. No more distractions looking for buttons! ✨

🤔 Why choose this mod?

There is a dedicated slow-motion trigger key module on the market, but it has two key flaws:

• Whenever the player uses "Armor Guard" or "Ancient Magic Throw", slow motion will be interrupted.
• After interruption, you cannot turn on slow motion again.

This is a long-standing bug and it doesn't look like it will be fixed. Additionally, that mod is written in LUA and injected into the game via UE4SS, which may work for some users, but may also cause stability issues.

Therefore, I created this brand new mod, which uses **Blueprint Logic** (the game itself is written in this), so is generally very stable. 👍

📥 Installation Guide

While you can use Vortex to auto-install (then skip to step 4 below), Vortex's support for Hogwarts Legacy mods is sometimes unreliable (it doesn't always remove mods correctly). Therefore, I recommend manual installation:

• **Download the module**.
• **Unzip the file**.
• Move the following three files into your **`Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`** folder:
• `zMySlowMo-103_P.utoc`
• `zMySlowMo-103_P.ucas`
• `zMySlowMo-103_P.pak`
• If you haven’t installed it yet, please install **Blueprint Apparate Modloader** first.
• Launch Hogwarts Legacy.
• Load your most recent save.
• Press the **`F8`** key to activate the Blueprint Teleport Mod Loader.
• Type **`MySlowMo`** in the small window and press **`Enter`** on your keyboard.
• The word **`MySlowMo`** should disappear and then reappear at the bottom of the window with an **`X`** next to it. If not (if it's stuck on the top line), then either a) you put the file in the wrong folder, or b) one of your existing mods already uses pakchunk 103. Use my PakChunk Checker to check. If there is a conflict, please see the **Conflicts** section below.
• Press **`F8`** again to close the mod loader window.

💡 **Note**: The above process only needs to be performed once. After that, the module will automatically take effect.

⌨️Default key bindings

By default, the mod uses the following keybindings:

• **`CTRL-ALT-COMMA`** -> Set time dilation = 0.1 (super slow)
• **`ALT-COMMA`** -> Set time dilation = 0.33 (very very slow)
• **`CTRL-COMMA`** -> Set time dilation = 0.50 (very slow)
• **`SHIFT-COMMA`** -> Set time dilation = 0.66 (slow)
• **`Period`** or **`Period`** -> set time dilation = 1.0 (return to normal speed)
• **Hold `RIGHT-SHIFT`** -> Set time dilation = 0.1 (super slow). **Release `RIGHT-SHIFT`** to return to normal.

⚙️ Custom key bindings

You can change the keybindings to any combination you like by following these steps:

• Download and install the latest version of this mod, launch the game, execute F8 (if you haven't done so already), load a save, and close the game.
• Enter **`%localappdata%\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor`** in the address bar of Windows Explorer and press Enter.
• Left-click **`Input.ini`**, then right-click and select Edit (or Open with > Notepad).
• Search for `MySlowMo`. You should find entries similar to the ones below.
• Change the items marked in **green** below to any key you want. Key names can be found here.
• Restart the game.
