A mod to update all SQL mods to include the changes made by the official summer 2024 game update.

📢 Important Announcement

On June 12, 2024, the Hogwarts Mod Merger ("HMM") was updated to include the changes from the Summer 2024 Update. **If you are using HMM v0.13, you do not need to install this mod**. You just click on each red "!" warning and HMM will automatically update the module for you.

🎮 Module Introduction

On June 6, 2024, an official game update was released that made some changes to the game's SQL database and localization (language) files. This renders all existing SQL modules (and language files) **obsolete**. Therefore, all SQL modules (and language files) need to be updated by the original authors. Since many creators are no longer actively working on mods for Hogwarts Legacy, some mods may never get updated. Fortunately, this problem can be solved by including the pak file provided by this mod in your merge file.

It also solves the compatibility issue with the **Photo Mode Button**:

**Quick note on merging:**

Some modules include the `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` SQL database. Some modules include the `MAIN-enUS.bin` language file. Some mods contain both. You need to load all modules containing `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` ** or ** `MAIN-enUS.bin` ** or ** **both** at the same time through the Hogwarts Mod Merger and merge them into a single `zMergedMods.pak` file. If you've already merged some before, there's no need to start from scratch, just merge any new mods with your old `zMergedMods.pak` file.

📥 Installation and usage guide

• **Download** this module.
• Unzip the `zzSummerUpdate2024_P.pak` file and place it into your `~mods` folder.
• Install and run Hogwarts Mod Merger (hereinafter referred to as "HMM").
• In HMM: load `zzSummerUpdate2024_P.pak`.
• In HMM: Load all your existing SQL modules* **or** your existing `zMergedMods.pak` file.
• In HMM: Load any existing pak files** that contain language files (unless they have been included via step 5).
• In HMM: Click "Preview merge changes".
• In HMM: Click "Build Merge Module". (When the small window "Merge module has been created" appears, click "OK".)
• A Windows Explorer window will pop up.
• In Explorer: Move the newly generated `zMergedMods.pak` to your `~mods` folder (overwriting any existing version).
• In Explorer: **Remove** `zzSummerUpdate2024_P.pak` (and any other merged SQL or language pak files) from your `~mods` folder. It is recommended to put them in a safe place for future merging, but not in a subfolder of `~mods`, nor in a subfolder of the `Paks` folder (the parent folder of `~mods`).
• Install and run the Mod Merger Checker ("MMC", not to be confused with HMM).
• In MMC: Check whether `zMergedMods.pak` is the **only** pak file marked in **red** in the list.
• Install and run the Mod Localization Checker (“MLC”).
• In MLC: Check if `zMergedMods.pak` is the **only** pak file marked in **red** in the list.
• If there are other red files, you need to use HMM to merge them with `zMergedMods.pak` and then remove them from the `~mods` folder.

• If you don't remember (or don't know) which mods are SQL mods, run Mod Merger Checker to find out.

** If you don't remember (or don't know) which mods contain language files, run the Mod Localization Checker to find out.

🗑️ How to uninstall

• Delete `zMergedMods.pak` from your `~mods` folder.
• Using HMM, create a new `zMergedMods.pak` file by merging all your existing SQL modules.

⚠️ About game crash

SQL mods like this will only cause the game to crash if you are running an older version of the game. When your game is not the latest version, updating to the latest SQL database will not work. In particular, if you are running a version of the game before May 4, 2023, the database structure will be wrong, so this mod will absolutely cause your game to crash.
