✨ Module function

This mod gives you two options:

• **One-Click Skip**: Allows you to completely skip Merlin's Trials (complete them instantly).
• **SKIP ANIMATION**: If you want to complete the trial yourself, it can enable the animation skip function at the end of the trial (**long press** right mouse button).

**⚠️ Please note**: There are reports that the animation skip feature may not work if you have UICore installed. This seems to be an issue with UICore (which was mostly broken after the June and/or July updates), so I can't fix it. Currently, if you have UICore installed, you can temporarily disable it by clicking the **X** next to the **DekUICore** entry in the modloader. (Your other Dekita mods will still work, but settings will not be accessible.) If you want to re-enable UICore, simply enter **DekUICore** in the mod loader, then fast travel to reload the mod.

📥 Installation Guide

I recommend following the steps below to install the mod manually. Of course, you can also try using Vortex to auto-install (then skip to step 4 below), but Vortex can be unreliable when dealing with Hogwarts Legacy mods (and sometimes fails to remove mods correctly), so be careful!

• **Download** the module file.
• **Extract** the contents of the compressed package.
• **Move** the `.utoc`, `.ucas` and `.pak` files to the following folder:

`Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`

• If it is not already installed, please install **Blueprint Apparate Modloader** first.
• Launch Hogwarts Legacy.
• Load your most recent save.
• Press the **F8** key to activate the **Blueprint Apparate Modloader**.
• Type **SkipMerlinTrials** into the small window and press **Enter** on your keyboard.
• The word **SkipMerlinTrials** should disappear and reappear below the window with an **X** next to it. If not (if it's stuck on the top line), then either a) you have the .utoc, .ucas, and .pak files in the wrong folder, or b) one of your existing mods already uses pakchunk 1049. Use my **PakChunk Checker** to check. If there is a pakchunk conflict, see the **Conflicts** section below.
• Press **F8** again to close the mod loader window.

**💡 Tips**: The above process only needs to be performed once. After that, the module will automatically take effect.

⌨️Default key bindings

By default, this mod uses the following keybindings:

• **`ALT + M`** = Instantly complete nearby Merlin's Trials.

⚙️ Custom key bindings

You can change the keybindings to any combination you like by following these steps:

• Download and install the latest version of this mod, launch the game, hit F8 (if you haven't done so already), load a save, and close the game.
• In Windows Explorer, enter `%localappdata%\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor` in the address bar at the top and press Enter.
• Left-click **Input.ini**, then right-click it and select Edit (or Open with > Notepad).
• Search for **SkipMerlinTrials**. You should find entries similar to the ones below.
• Change the items marked in **green** below to any key you want. Key names can be found here.
• Restart the game.

🗑️ How to uninstall

There are two methods:

• **Install via Vortex**: Disable or uninstall it via Vortex. **But**, please **check** afterwards to see if it has disappeared from the **~mods** folder.
