Selective Voiceline Remover
🎮 **Control your Hogwarts sounds**
Tired of certain characters repeating their lines over and over again? This mod allows you to **precisely remove any voice** from any character in the game, creating a more immersive experience to your liking.
✨ Core Functions
- **Precise Selection**: You can specify each line of speech to be removed via the line script text or a specific `adtl labl` tag.
- **Full language coverage**: The selected voice will be muted in **all game language versions** at the same time, no need to repeat operations for different languages.
- **Character Targeting**: You can choose to batch mute specific characters (including player characters).
- **Easy to use**: Configure by editing text files and run the program to generate module files.
🛠️ How it works
This is a neat little tool. It reads a CSV file containing almost all the voice details in the game. Based on your settings, the program will generate the corresponding silent `.wem` audio file for the selected voice entry and place it in the correct location in the game file structure. In this way, when the game plays these voices, nothing will be heard. The program will also automatically create corresponding silent file directories for all language versions.
📖 User Guide
- **Prepare to remove the list**
- Open the `Lines to Remove.txt` file.
- In the file, **one line per line**, write the complete **"Script Text"** or corresponding **"adtl labl"** of the speech you want to remove.
- **Tip**: You can find script text and tags for almost all voices in the `Hogwarts Legacy Audio Files - Voiceover.csv` file that comes with the mod, or by visiting the `Voiceover` sheet in this online form.
- **Note**: The script text must be **exactly consistent** with the content in the CSV file, including punctuation and spaces between words (the spacing of some lines may be a little strange).
- **Select target role**
- Open the `Selected Character.txt` file.
- In the first line write the **character name** whose voice you want to remove (the name is also found in the above CSV file).
- If you want to remove the player character's voice, you can fill in `Player - Voice`, so that both player voices will take effect.
- **Generate module**
- Run the `Remover.exe` program.
- Open the generated `Output` folder, there will be a new directory named `zYOURMODNAME_P` (you can change `YOURMODNAME` to any name you like).
- Repackage this `zYOURMODNAME_P` folder into a `.pak` file. You can refer to the instructions of this module to learn how to package.
- Finally, place your `.pak` file into the `\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods` folder.
🎉 Done! Start the game and enjoy a cleaner (or at least more to your taste) magical world!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
