🧙♂️ Creative Concept
In my opinion, Hogwarts Legacy is not the kind of game that requires crazy high frame rates to play. It's not a first/third person shooter like Dead Returns (proof of that is my combat "performance" in the video 😉 ). Where this game shines is in the magical atmosphere that J.K. Rowling created in the books and brought to life in the movies, and her work as a consultant is amazing. The original game came close to showing this, but not quite yet. Thus, this mod was born - a tribute to the books, movies and authors.
🔦 Module Core
This mod is mainly focused on **RayTracing** and is more biased towards **AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 6800 series graphics cards**. That being said, if you prefer the magical atmosphere of Hogwarts to Call of Duty -style gameplay, you should be able to play at a smooth enough frame rate using the "normal" version of the mod. I'm using a 7900XT myself, and you can clearly see that my framerate mostly stays around 60FPS.

📦 Installation Guide
- Unzip the downloaded `.7z` file.
- Copy the `.pak` file to your game directory:
`[Steam installation path]\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks`
⚙️ In-game settings
Once in the game, go to **Settings -> Graphics** and select **R457** among all options.
💡 **TIP**: If you want, you can mix the vanilla medium to ultra high quality options with this mod. But please note that I have not tested this and cannot guarantee the results. But who knows – the results may be unexpected… and like life, they happen when you least expect them.
🗑️ Uninstall method
- Delete the module’s `.pak` file from the above Paks folder.
- Re-adjust your graphics settings.
🔧 Troubleshooting
If the mod doesn't work, you can try putting it into the following folder:
