⚙️ Usage tips and adjustments
- **Anti-Aliasing and Text Blurring**: Anti-aliasing in Reshade (`DLAA_Plus.fx`) may cause in-game text and menus to be slightly blurred, and is designed to soften the edges of grass, rocks, and trees. If you don't like this effect, you can **uncheck** `DLAA_Plus.fx`.
- **The picture is too dark? **: If you think the picture is too dark, you can try **uncheck** `Vignette.fx` (vignetting effect) to see if it improves.
- **Shadows & Menus/Cutscenes**: Enhanced shadow effects (MXAO and RTGI) may have display issues in game menus and cutscenes. This is a known technical limitation and cannot be completely avoided.
- **Quick Switch**: For convenience, the switch for the shadow effect has been **pre-bound to the END key**. When shadows interfere with menus or cutscenes, you can press the END key at any time to switch. The author believes that this little trouble is worth it for the excellent picture quality during the game!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
