My first mod: a wand designed to resemble Professor McGonagall. It wasn't perfect, but I fell in love with it immediately.

Professor McGonagall's wand

✨ **My first mod creation! ** ✨

Thanks to Pickysaurus's great tutorial on how to make mods, I was finally able to make and test my first custom wand! Since there are already some cool wands made by other diligent modders here, I also tried my hand at making Professor McGonagall's one. Anyway, very close! 😄

It was only after exporting that I noticed that the wand was not completely round, but more of an oval, but see for yourself!

I guess I'll make some other wands... I might modify this one to make it a little rounder ;)

📥 **Installation Instructions**

  • **Place files**: Place the `.pak`, `.ucas`, `.utoc` files into the `\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods` folder.
  • **Create Folder**: If the `~mods` folder does not exist, please create one manually.

**⚠️ IMPORTANT**: Once installed, do not equip this wand without its handle. This modification replaces all wands with Professor McGonagall's wand and is **not compatible with the handle**.

Hope you enjoy this little bit of magic! As my first mod, it captures my love for Hogwarts Legacy and the world of Harry Potter. Wield it around the castle and feel like you really have become a powerful and elegant wizard like Professor McGonagall! 🧙‍♀️

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
