🎮 **A simplified fix tool to fix mission-critical bugs in Hogwarts Legacy! **

✨ Module Introduction

This is a simple fix for official bug number **HL-8823** (and its duplicates such as **HL-9020**), also known as the game-breaking **"Professor Feige's Final Warehouse Bug"**.

⚠️ **IMPORTANT WARNING**: This mod is not automatic. You need to hit **`ALT-f`** at the right moment for this to work. (See **Instructions for Use** section below.)

This is a **extremely simplified version** of the original bug fix. (You can find the original version here.)

📥 Installation Guide

I recommend following the steps below to install this mod manually. Of course, you should also be able to auto-install using Vortex if you want (then skip directly to step 4 below), but be aware that Vortex can be unreliable when it comes to handling mods for Hogwarts Legacy (it sometimes fails to remove mods correctly)!

• **Download the module**.
• **Unzip the file**.
• Move the **`.utoc`**, **`.ucas`** and **`.pak`** files to the following folders:

`Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`

• Install the **Blueprint Apparate Modloader** if it is not already installed.
• Launch Hogwarts Legacy.
• Load your most recent save file.
• Press the **`F8`** key to activate the **Blueprint Apparate Modloader**.
• Type **`ProfFigBugFix`** into the small window and press **`Enter`** on your keyboard.
• The word **`ProfFigBugFix`** should disappear and reappear at the bottom of the window with an **`X`** next to it.
• **If it doesn't move** (i.e. stays on the top line), then either a) you have the .utoc, .ucas, and .pak files in the wrong folder, or b) one of your existing mods is already using pakchunk 1043. You can check using my **PakChunk Checker**. If there is a pakchunk conflict, see the **Conflict Resolution** section below.
• Press **`F8`** again to close the mod loader window.

💡 **PLEASE NOTE**: You only need to follow the above process **ONCE**. After that, the mod will work normally.

🎮 Instructions for use

When the mission objective says **"Talk to Professor Figg"** but there is no interaction prompt above Professor Figg, press **`ALT-f`**.

A message will appear on the screen indicating whether the mod ran successfully.

🗑️ How to uninstall

**Method 1**: If you installed it via Vortex: Disable or uninstall it via Vortex. **But be sure to check afterwards** whether it has been removed from the `~mods` folder.

**Method 2**: Delete the **`.utoc`**, **`.ucas`** and **`.pak`** files directly from the `~mods` folder.

⚠️ Conflict resolution

This mod uses **pakchunk 1043**. After installing this mod, you can run my **PakChunk Checker** batch script to check if it conflicts with any of your existing mods.

If a conflict does exist, you can use **Chunk ID Conflict Manager** to fix it.
