✨ I collected and integrated some custom configuration lines into the **Engine.ini** and **GameUserSettings.ini** files to make the game run stably on **low-end configurations (8GB RAM, 2GB VRAM)** while keeping the graphics quality less "potato".

🎮 Core Functions

• **Performance and image quality balance**: By carefully adjusting the configuration file, the visual effects are preserved as much as possible while ensuring the playability of the game.
• **Custom Resolution**: You can adjust the value of **sg.ResolutionQuality** in **GameUserSettings.ini** to improve the blurring problem. I personally set it to 50% and it works just fine. In practice, the visual difference between 50% and 100% is not noticeable, and you can even try lower percentages.

💡 Practical Tips

These tips can further enhance your gaming experience!

• **STRONGLY RECOMMENDED** to install the game on an **SSD (Solid State Drive)**. Installing on an HDD may cause textures to load very slowly (depending on your hardware configuration).
• **Personal Experience**: I locked the game at 30 FPS in the NVIDIA Control Panel, which effectively reduced the frame rate dips.
• **Texture loading issues**: If I encounter textures loading extremely slowly or not loading at all, a workaround I've found that works is to **fast travel** to the destination location.

📥 Installation Guide

The installation process is very simple:

• (Optional) Back up the original configuration file.
• Place the downloaded file into the following directory:

`C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor`

🔄 Update log

• **New "Lower Profile" file**: Contains some engine tweaks, but mainly shortens the draw distance, aiming to make framerates more stable and eliminate severe framerate drops. Not sure if this configuration will bring more framerate improvements. **Only use this version if the main profile is still not able to play smoothly. **
• **Added optional registry file**: used to adjust the process priority of HogwartsLegacy.exe from "Normal" to "High". As far as I can tell, this won't result in a significant framerate increase, but it may help reduce or eliminate input lag on some low-end configurations, while it may cause stuttering on others. Feel free to try it, the README file has instructions on how to reset to "normal" priority.
