About this mod Machine translation
Increased number of Hogwarts Express runs in the Highlands.
More Hogwarts Express Runs
A very simple mod that increases the number of times the Hogwarts Express runs in the Highlands from four times a week to twice a day. 🚂 The train will run once every morning and once shortly after sunset. I didn't even know it was running before because it came up so infrequently!
✨ Module function
- **Increased Frequency**: Increase the frequency of the Hogwarts Express from four times a week to twice a day (or three times, depending on which version you choose).
- **Enhanced Immersion**: Let you see this iconic train more often as you explore the Highlands, adding more life to the game world.
⚙️ Compatibility and Instructions
This mod modifies SQL files, so if you use other mods, you may need to use the merge tool. However, no other mods currently appear to modify the Hogwarts Express data, so it should be compatible with almost all mods, unless a mod also modifies the Hogwarts Express data in the SQL file.
I've tested its compatibility with the following mods and they all work well together:
- Temperus Imperium
- The Hog-Thomas Express at Hogwarts
📥 Installation Guide
- **Select File**: Select only one of the two main files. One version is run twice a day, the other is run three times a day.
- **Download and Unzip**: Download and unzip the file. If you are not using other modules that modify SQL data, you can skip the next step.
- **(Optional) Merge files**: If you want to mix or use other mods that modify SQL data, please use the Mod Merger tool to merge.
- **Place files**: Place the unzipped files (or merged files, if you performed step 3) into the following directory:
`Steam\Steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods`
Have fun on your journey to Hogwarts! 🍻
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
