More Enemies (x2)

✨ Module Introduction

Once you get used to Hogwarts Legacy's combat system, defeating enemies can become too easy. Add to that the use of potions, deadly plants, and gear bonuses...and you'll become much more powerful than your opponent. There are several mods on the market that try to solve this problem by making enemies more aggressive or increasing their health. This module uses a simpler method: **just increase the number of enemy NPCs**. Of course, you can also combine this mod with my "Stronger Enemies" series of mods to make the game **really** fun! 😉

In this mod, I increased the number of enemy NPCs by an average of 2x, but it could actually range from 1x to 3x. (In the game, when you pass a certain location, you usually encounter the exact same number of enemies. I modified this to add some variety.)

⚠️ **PLEASE NOTE**: Unfortunately, this mod only affects enemies that spawn "in the wild". Enemy settings in bandit camps, spider lairs, and other places are hidden inside the game and cannot be easily modified. I may try to solve this problem in the future, but it requires learning about Blueprints and Unreal Engine, which seems quite time-consuming. If anyone can tell me roughly how to do it, I'd love to try it!

📥 Installation Guide

• **Automatic Installation**: Install via the "Vortex" or "Mod Manager Download" button.
• **MANUAL INSTALL**: If Vortex installation fails, please manually download the ZIP file, extract the PAK file from it, and place it in the following directory:

`Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`

• If the `~mods` folder does not exist, create it manually.

🗑️ Uninstall method

• **Vortex Installation**: Click the "Remove" button for that mod in Vortex... **but afterwards**, be sure to check the `Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\` folder to make sure there is no folder named something like "XXX-MoreEnemies2X_v?_?_?" (where XXX is a three-letter prefix, depending on how many mods you have installed). If such a folder exists, delete it. Vortex is supposed to remove it, but sometimes it misses it. If the folder still exists, the mod was not actually uninstalled.
• **Manual Installation**: Remove the `MoreEnemies2X` PAK file directly from the `Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\` folder.

⚠️ Conflict and merge

This mod modifies and replaces the game's `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` SQL database file.

If you have other mods that modify the game's SQL data (such as my Fewer Spiders or Tougher Enemies mods), please use the Mod Merger program and follow the instructions therein to: a) intelligently merge the changes, and b) install the resulting merged PAK file.

💡 **Tip**: If you want to see what specific changes my mod made to the SQL database, just load my mod into Mod Merger and you'll be able to see a detailed list of changes.
