👋 **Hello everyone! **
This mod can make your game run smoother, or look better, by enabling a range of enhancement options!
🎨 Optional configuration
You can choose from three presets:
- **🎨 IMPROVED IMAGE** - Options focused on improving visual effects. (my default setting)
- **⚡ Performance Improvements** - Focused on options to improve game frame rates. (my default setting)
- **🔧 Full Options** - Neutral configuration with all adjustable settings, you can freely edit all options.
- **💻 Ultimate performance** - specially prepared for laptops and other devices.
💡 **Tips**: When using the **Full Performance** files, please pay special attention to the **Grass Density** settings! For computers with weaker configurations, adjusting this can bring significant performance improvements!
The first two options, as their names suggest, focus on adding settings that improve image quality or performance respectively. For players who like to play around, **Full Options** provides all the adjustable parameters.
Each options file comes with a description of the main features, as well as the default values I preset based on the chosen configuration.
🚀 Tips for newbies
For players who use **NVIDIA** graphics cards and want to **improve performance**, you may want to try using **FSR 2** technology instead of DLSS. Many "green team" card owners have confirmed that **FSR 2** brings better results than DLSS. It’s worth testing it yourself!
📁 Installation and use
What we are going to edit/replace is the **`engine.ini`** file.
**File Location:** `C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor`
- On the Download page, select the option file you are interested in.
- After downloading and unzipping, you can directly paste the file into the above path.
- Of course, you can further edit this file according to your preference.
