Legendary mask recolor

by Wokid·v1.0·Updated 2025-12-16

Update: 2 new colors have been added. Hi everyone, this is my first small mod. Thanks to MissingMinus for teaching me the basics. Basically, the gold accents on the legendary mask didn't quite fit the look I was going for, so I decided to do something about it. I've changed the colors to various gray variations.

✨ Module Introduction

Did you feel like the gold accents on the legendary mask in Hogwarts Legacy were a little... too shiny? Doesn’t quite fit your low-key or cool style? This mod is for you! I replaced those gold parts and offered a variety of **grey** variations to give the mask a more restrained, coordinated look.

🛠️ Installation method

Installation is very simple, just a few steps:

  • Find your game directory: `/steamapps/common/Hogwarts Legacy/Phoenix/Content/Paks/`
  • In this directory, create a new folder named `mods` (if there is not one already).
  • Extract the contents of the downloaded `.zip` file into the `mods` folder.

Done! Launch the game and enjoy your new mask.

💡 **Tips**: This is the author's first mod, designed to provide simple and straightforward appearance modifications. If you also like to customize the colors of in-game items, give it a try!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
