Incendio V3.2.5 - FPS

Incendio is an unofficial mod for fixing the FPS of Hogwarts Legacy. This is a performance improvement mod that reduces or completely eliminates performance issues and stuttering by adjusting Unreal Engine parameters.

🚀Mod information

**"Incendio"** is a series of adjustments to Unreal Engine parameters designed to improve the stuttering and FPS drops that the current game suffers from. It implements some engine optimizations such as:

• **Shader Optimization**
• **Texture streaming optimization**
• **General adjustments to improve FPS**
• **Shader pipeline cache optimization**

and many more small tweaks to make the game run smoother.

Some bugs cannot be fixed because they are core features of the game. My mod is designed to help the game run smoother and optimize stuttering and FPS drops. Thanks to my mod, I can now play Hogwarts Legacy smoothly.

**💡 My configuration and effect: **

My setup: 9900K - RTX 2070 OC - 32 GB RAM - M.2 SSD.

• **At launch: ** 30-59 FPS at medium quality, frequently dropping to 24 FPS... dropping to 5-15 FPS at slide level during cutscenes.
• **After optimizing engine parameters: **
• **Inside Hogwarts Castle:** 60-80 FPS (previously: 30-59 FPS)
• **Hogsmeade:** 60-75 FPS (previously: 27-45 FPS)
• **Cutscenes:** Stable 60 FPS (previously: 5-15 FPS)
• **Flight & Exploration:** 75-100 FPS (Previously: 50-70 FPS)

There are still occasional FPS drops (such as when entering the castle), but the stuttering has completely disappeared for me.

**🎥 For live broadcasters using OBS:**

After using my fix, the in-game frame rate can reach 47-95 FPS.

• Hogwarts: 47-61 FPS
• Hogsmeade: 46-68 FPS
• Wild environment: 65-95 FPS

Hopefully my mod will improve your gaming experience until the development team releases a real fix.

📥 Module installation

This mod does not require an installer like other mods. You only need to backup 2 files and replace them with my modified files.

**3 versions available, suitable for different video memories: 6GB/8GB/12GB. **

**Installation steps:**

• Navigate to the folder: `C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor`
• Create a backup folder (for example, name it "Backup").
• Copy the two files in the folder: `Engine.ini` and `GameUserSettings.ini` to the backup folder.
• Download my module and put the extracted files into the `WindowsNoEditor` folder.
• Done! Start the game!
• In-game graphics options can be adjusted according to your needs.

**IMPORTANT:** Please turn off in-game Ray Tracing (RT) as this mod is not optimized for it. Maybe I will join in the future. The game looks good without RT.

⚡ Performance improvement tips

Hogwarts Legacy has a memory leak issue. If you need extra help easing lag, consider using a third-party memory management application such as **Reduce Memory**.

If you choose to use "Reduce Memory", here is a short setup guide:

• Start Reduce Memory x64.
• Go to Options.
• Set a limit for automatic optimization of memory.
• Set the limit between 70-80%, I personally recommend 70%, no matter how much RAM you have.
• Set the refresh interval to 5 seconds.

This application needs to be launched every time the game is launched.
