Immersive Prefect Patrol
🎮 **Upgrade your Hogwarts night! ** This module adds night patrol prefects to Hogwarts Castle, making your nighttime adventure more realistic and exciting!
---
✨ Core Functions
- **Dynamic Patrol**: Prefects will now patrol around the castle at night, instead of being a static background board.
- **Immersion Upgrade**: Greatly enhances the tension of nighttime exploration and the authenticity of role-playing.
- **Compatibility and linkage**: Perfectly adapted to other popular modules to create a richer gaming experience.
🤝 Highly recommended combination
I **HIGHLY RECOMMEND** that you use this mod with Night Curfew (made by **nathdev**)!
**COMBO EFFECT**: If spotted by patrolling prefects, they will send you back to your common room!
**Instructions for use**:
- **DO NOT** merge this mod with Night Curfew's SQL files, please only use the files provided by this mod.
- Add the following code to the configuration:
```
[/Game/UI_BP_NightCurfew.UI_BP_NightCurfew_C]
DisableSpawning=True
```
🔧 Compatibility Notes
- **Time Dilator**: This mod is also compatible with the Time Dilator mod, but is **not** required for this mod to work.
- **Stand-alone vs. Integrated**: An integrated version will also be available on the Night Curfew mod page in the future. But the standalone version gives you the option to use Night Curfew without installing it, which also makes it easier for me to update patrol schedules independently.

📥 Installation Guide
- Download the module manually.
- Extract all four files from the ZIP archive.
- Place them into the following directory:
`Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`
- If the `~mods` folder does not exist, create it manually.
🗑️ Uninstall method
If you installed manually, just delete the relevant files from the `Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\` folder.
⚠️ Conflict and merge
This module modifies and replaces the game's native `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` SQL database file.
- **Required to be merged**: You need to use the Hogwarts Mod Merger tool to merge this mod with other mods that modify SQL.
- **Check Tool**: If you're not sure which `.pak` files need to be merged, install and run the Mod Merger Checker.
- **View Modifications**: If you want to know what specific changes this mod has made to the SQL database, just load my mod into Hogwarts Mod Merger to view the list of modifications.

🙏 Special thanks
- Thanks to **nathdev** and **icouldifiwantedto** for their help with the Hogwarts Legacy mod.
*Thanks to my girlfriend **@Carobla** for the great idea of having the 5th grade prefects patrol in pairs (since they were new).
*Mod naming is inspired by **icouldifiwantedto**'s mod series, with permission from them to use the same naming conventions.

**Changelog**: Please see the **Changelogs** dropdown below the mod description for details.
Start your night swimming adventure, but be careful not to get caught by the prefects! 🕯️👀
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
