Immersive rough style ReShade - inspired by early HP movies

🎨 A ReShade preset designed to fix the game's original pale, washed-out visuals, making it look more like it came from an early HP movie.

This is a preset I created for myself to enhance my Hogwarts Legacy gaming experience. It's been tested in a variety of environments and on all skin tones, ensuring everything is clearly visible without changing the feel of the menu too much.

✨ Main functions

  • **ZERO FPS LOSS** 🚀 - This is a detailed level/contrast/color temperature/hue correction without adding any additional special effects.
  • **Warms the entire game palette** 🔥, making the world look warmer and more nostalgic (much like the early movies).
  • **Sharpen images** 🔍 and remove blur in the game (you can turn off DLSS sharpening in the game options).
  • **Makes the nights feel truly dark and cool, and the days feel warmer and sunnier** 🌙☀️. By adjusting Levels, highlights appear brighter and shadows appear darker.
  • **Make colors more vivid** 🌈 and contrast more vividly with each other, eliminating the faded, dull feeling caused by the original color grading.
  • **Overall improved game immersion** 🎮, providing sharper, more vivid, and therefore more stimulating visual effects.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
