✨ Module Introduction

**Grail Overhaul** is a complete game overhaul we've created for the Hogwarts Legacy mod set. This mod was born out of a simple reason: many game balance mods affect the same files, making it impossible to use more than two mods at the same time without merging them using a mod merge tool, which can sometimes be a headache. **Grail Overhaul** makes it easy with an easy-to-install mod menu and multiple preset options!

📥 Installation Guide

Method 1: Install using Vortex (recommended)

• **Install using Vortex** and select your desired preset in the installer.

Method 2: Manual installation

• Download the preset you want from "Other Files".
• Unzip the file using 7zip or WinZip.
• Drag and drop the files into your **~mods** folder.

**~mods folder location:**

• **Steam:** `Drive letter:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods`
• **GOG:** `Drive letter:\GOGLibrary\Games\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods`
• **Epic:** `Drive letter:\EpicLibrary\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\~mods`

⚠️ **IMPORTANT:** Any mods that affect the `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` file are not compatible with this mod.

🎮 Default introduction

We've prepared a variety of presets for you, so there's always one that suits your gaming style!

1. **Holy Grail·Easy Mode** 🟦

Focus more on the story experience and provide some buffs to make the game easier.

**Main functions:**

• **Upgrade:** Double experience points, human enemies have a high chance of dropping legendary items.
• **Range:** Increases Incendio's casting range to match other attacks, Revilio's range is increased by 50% and its duration is doubled.
• **Backpack:** Player backpack capacity increased to 499.
• **Potions & Plants:** Capacity increased to 999, plant growth time reduced to 1 minute, yield set to 5, potion yield set to 3, brewing time set to 30 seconds.
• **Animals and Beasts:** All animals can be rescued, the price of beasts has been increased from 120 Galleons to 1000 Galleons, the stable capacity has been increased from 12 to 99, the species has been increased from 4 to 29, the output is set to 5, up to 396 beasts can be saved, the capture distance has been increased, and one-click capture can be achieved.
• **Summoning Items:** Added 100 slots to all summoning items, can summon any item in the stable, removes placement restrictions, unlocks all summonable items, can change the size and color of all summonable items.
• **Spells:** Perfect block (armor protection), balanced base casting (all four base attacks deal the same damage), removes all spell cooldowns.
• **Immersion (by icredifiwantedto):** The number of trains increases, the common room has different flows of people at different times, students go to eat, NPCs are active in the common room, young students appear, change into pajamas at night, teachers and students have up to 8 classes a day, ghosts attend breakfast and dinner, etc.

2. **Holy Grail·Original Balance Mode** 🟨

This is the original game, but with balance tweaks. **(Author recommended preset)**

**Main functions:**

• **Upgrade:** Human enemies have a low chance of dropping legendary items.
• **Backpack:** Player backpack capacity increased to 499.
• **Potions & Plants:** Capacity increased to 999, plant growth time reduced to 1 minute, yield set to 5, potion yield set to 3, brewing time set to 30 seconds.
