About this mod Machine translation
A standalone utility that combines mod files together, allowing previously incompatible mods to work together.
- This tool can be used to merge mod files into a single package, allowing mods that would overwrite each other to work together.
- Some mods that can be merged with this tool (there may be more, but I haven't downloaded them all to check):
- Avada Kedavra Quick Cast
- Alohomora Mod
- Vivarium Upgrado (Save All Animals)
- Conjure Anything
---
**> NOTE: Not all mods can be merged this way; the software will report an error if this is the case**.

- Installation guide:
- Download Hogwarts Mod Merger.zip and extract it to a new folder
- Place this new folder containing the Hogwarts Mod Merger into the root directory of your Hogwarts Legacy game
- Run Hogwarts Mod Merger (if it is not running, make sure you have the .NET 6 Runtime installed)
- Click Select New Mod and find the .pak file for the first mod you want to add.
A preview of the changes will appear in the table on the right
- Click “Add to Merged Mods”
- Repeat steps four and five for any other mods you want to add.
- Click "Preview Merged Changes": This will show all game changes that will be written to the new mod file
- Click Build Merged Mo.
- The merged mod output folder will open. Copy the created " _MergedMods_P.pak " file to your original ~mods folder (should be in HogwartsLegacy/Phoenix/Content/Paks/~mods)
- You can rename the mod however you want, as long as it ends with "_P"
- Merging the mod will overwrite the mod. Please delete the original merged mod file. Only one merged mod file is needed.

**I know the program looks ugly right now - rest assured I'll be sprucing up the UI soon once functionality is improved :)**

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
