The economic system has been overhauled to make Nats feel more valuable and worth your time to find and collect.

🎮 **Make every galleon you spend worth it! **

This mod aims to overhaul Hogwarts Legacy's economic system, making the in-game currency - Knuts - feel more valuable and every time you explore and fight more rewarding.

✨ Core Objectives

• **Repair Economy**: Reduce some overly powerful gold coin sources and increase the prices of permanent recipes, broom upgrades, etc.
• **Increased consumption opportunities**: The number of goods from all vendors is increased by 2-3 times, giving you more things to buy.
• **Increased Sense of Accomplishment**: Obtaining items should feel more like an achievement and your money decisions more impactful.
• **Emphasis on Moonstone**: Greatly increases the construction requirements for the Room of Requirement, making moonstone a resource truly worth collecting.

All in all, this mod makes your efforts to explore and defeat enemies much more worthwhile.

⚙️ Specific changes details

The following are the specific adjustments made by the mod to the game economy:

**💸 Reduced income (more reasonable wealth accumulation)**

• The gold coins in the Spell of Disillusionment chest have been reduced from **500 to 200**
• Selling price of non-legendary equipment **reduced by 33%**
• Magical beasts selling price reduced from **120 to 100**

**🛒 Increased spending (more meaningful consumption)**

• Purchase prices for permanent recipes, seeds, etc. **increased by 25%**
• Purchase price of brooms **increased by approximately 13%**
• Broom upgrade purchase price **increased by 50%**
• Transfiguration cost **Increased by about 1000% (10 times)**
• Rebalanced the prices of some consumables to make them more useful

**🏪 The market is booming (more shopping options)**

• The number of items sold by all vendors **increases 2-3 times**

**🚧 Experimental feature (not currently in effect)**

• *Added selling prices for all potions, ingredients, magical creature by-products, and moonstones (this feature is not currently active)*

💡 **Developer Note**: An ideal version would allow you to sell potions, ingredients, etc., but this would require script modifications that are currently beyond my capabilities. If any other modder solves this problem, you are welcome to develop based on this mod.

🔧 Installation and Compatibility

**Installation method**

Install the `.pak` file to the following directory:

`SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\mods` or equivalent location.

**⚠️ IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE**

If you are running other mods that also modify the `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` file, you will need to use **Hogwarts Mod Merger** to merge them together, please follow the instructions on that tool's page.
