Golden Age Reshade Preset
🎨 **My goal was to create a lightweight, easy-to-install Reshade preset that would enhance the visuals of the original game. ** This preset pack contains two versions:
✨ Default version
- **🏰 The Golden Age of Hogwarts ** - A standard gaming preset with a warmer and more diverse color palette and enhanced highlights.
- **🎬 The Golden Age of Hogwarts (The Movie)** - A cinematic preset that reduces exposure and saturation but retains a warmer tone than the original game.
💡 **TIP:** When using the cinematic preset, I recommend disabling the game HUD. Or, if you don’t like borders (i.e. black edges on top and bottom), you can press `Ctrl+H` to turn off Reshade’s border effect.
📸 **You are welcome to share your screenshots of using these presets, just indicate the name of the preset you used when sharing! **

🛠️ Installation Guide
- **Download** this module package.
- **Unzip** the compressed package (using WinRAR, 7zip and other software) to the game directory: `Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64`.
- **Download and run** the latest version of Reshade. Select **DX10/11/12** during the installation process, then select the preset you want to use - **The Golden Age of Hogwarts** or **The Golden Age of Hogwarts (The Movie)**.
- **Run the game**. Press the `HOME` key to open the Reshade menu and select a preset from the drop-down menu.
- **Enjoy** the game!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
