Female Face 2 Smaller Jaw Edit
♡ **Description** ♡
This is a custom facial model that replaces **Female Face #002** in the game.
It's been edited based on the original game model:
- 💪 **Lifts the jaw area and reduces size**
- 👄 **Fine adjustments to the cheeks**
- 👂 **Remaining facial features remain the same** (mouth width slightly reduced due to jaw adjustment)
💃 **Two animation options**
You can choose from two different facial animation styles:
- **Standard Edition**: Do not change any facial expressions and animations, keeping the original meaning of the game.
- **Stiff version**: Reduce facial expression animations (such as smiling, raising eyebrows, etc.), suitable for players who like fewer expression changes.
🔥 **IMPORTANT**: Please **select only one of the options** to install!
---
♡ **Installation Guide** ♡
- 📦 **Extract files**: Extract `.pak`, `.ucas`, `.utoc` files to the following directory:
`SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods`
- 🔍 **Uninstall**: Delete these files to uninstall the module.
🔧 **Troubleshooting**
If the mod doesn't work, try the following steps:
- ⇢ If you use Vortex, please try **manually installing** the mod.
- ⇢ Make sure your folder contains all 3 file types: `.pak`, `.ucas`, `.utoc`.
- ⇢ Check for **conflicting mods**.
- ⇢ Try changing the mod location: put it in the `Paks` folder instead of the `~mods` folder.
- ⇢ Change mod priority: adjust the loading order by renaming the files (for example, changing the first letter from "z" to "a").

♡ **FAQs** ♡
1. **Compatibility and conflict checking**
Incompatible mods may cause the game to crash, freeze, or fail to launch, or even the mod itself to not display.
- 👍 **Compatible**: All custom face models using different Chunk IDs are generally compatible with any mod that modifies the appearance (such as skin, makeup, hairstyle, etc.).
- 👎 **INCOMPATIBILITY**: Any mod that replaces a facial model with the same number (i.e. **#002**), or modifies the same game asset.
- **Example of Potentially Conflicting Mods**:
- Female Player Face Fixes by BobG123
- Extended Character Creator by AidenCharming
- **Special Note**: Not compatible** with mods using the same **Chunk ID 211**.
2. **How to check the Chunk ID of a module? **
Most mods will state this in the description or file name. You can also use the PakChunk Checker tool for detection.
3. **Your module has a Chunk ID conflict with other modules. Can it be fixed? **
You can use the Chunk ID Conflict Manager tool to resolve any Chunk ID conflicts.
4. **Can I change the facial model number that this mod replaces? **
**Can't. **
5. **Can you change this mod to be non-replaceable (add new options)? **
**Can't. **
6. **What is the difference between standard version and stiff version animation? Which should I choose? **
- **Standard Edition**: Keep the game's original facial expression animations.
- **Stiff version**: Reduces the amplitude of expression animations, suitable for players who feel that the original expressions (such as smiles) are too exaggerated.
The game has fixed the problem of overly exaggerated expressions on female faces in cutscenes in the patch on March 8, 2023, but some players still prefer the stiff version of the effect.
7. **How to change the appearance of an existing character? **
Use the Character Editor tool (requires Blueprint Apparate Modloader).
8. **Issue: My character is invisible or has the wrong texture during cutscenes. **
This is most likely caused by conflicting mods such as Curly Hair - Bellatrix Style. Please check and disable other mods that may conflict.
9. **How do I make my character look like the one shown in the picture? **
Please refer to the next section for mod links.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
